The beginning of my love affair with Switzerland started in June 2009. That was my first trip to Switzerland. I was an exchange student in Vilnius, Lithuania in that semester and was living in an international dorm. It was May and everyone was discussing their travel plans after the exams. Some were going Budapest, Prague, Krakow and further. I didn't have any travel plan. In fact, I missed home but having come all the way to Europe, I knew I had to travel and see the world before heading home.
Being a student with not too much money, I trawled the budget carrier sites for a possible destination. Somewhere not too far, not too dangerous. Hmm, where's Zurich? Sounds exotic like Zagreb. With a click and credit payment. I was off to Zurich. Little did I know that it would be a journey of no return. With a total of 4 trips to the lovely country, tasting new experiences every single time!
